no motor movement on the axis motors

sir: Having trouble getting axis motors to operate. (No Movement).
Things I have tried.
- Software installed as per manual - with license file. The software recognizes the uc300 and the 4 leds are properly lit when the software is operating.
- properly rated power supply for uc300 a 5vdc 2 amp supply ( this supply also runs the stepper drivers.
- checked the cat5e cable from computer to uc300 if disconnected the blue led goes out and the software tells me it lost connection.
- checked that port 2 of the uc300 is connected to port 1 of the ucbb (dual port breakout board) and port 1 of the uc300 is connected to port 2 of the (dual port breakout board)
- led 1 and 2 on the breakout board a correctly lit.

- when I try to jog the motors nothing happens. I have noticed that when I try to jog in the say Y+ the step pin dimly lights and when I jog Y- the dir lights brightly. The output number on the board matches the pins I assigned in the config section of the software.
- tried assigning and testing various input switched and estop and probe and they work fine.
- I have disabled all other inputs and outputs and i trying to get the y axis motor to operate. I have tried the other Axis x,z,A (the result is the same the the pin assigned the the step glows very dimly and dir pin brightly)
- I tried switching the pin assignments but the result is the same. ( no motor movement. )
I tried reading the forum and followed what I thought might help.

I'm having this same issue. New install. UCBB and and UC300ETH-5LPT purchased Jan 2021.

When trying to jog the motors nothing happens. When I try to jog Y+, the step pin dimly lights and when I jog Y- the dir lights brightly. The output number on the board matches the pins I assigned in the configuration section.
