Machine jerks in curves and corners

Postby dynaflux » Fri Feb 05, 2021 10:20 am

I have rebuilt an Omio X8-2200L-USB with a AXBB-E and UCCNC, however the machine jerks in curves and corners - has anyone encountered this problem and have a solution? I have tried some different settings but without improvement.

What are your CV settings? Increase the error tolerances.

I should mention those settings are imported from a XML Mach 3 - where it worked fine.

Comm. buffer size: 0.1
Constant velocity mode
Stop at angle degrees > 89
Look ahead lines count: 300
Lines error max: 0.03
Linear addition lenght max: 2
Corner error max. 0.03
Arc radius tolerance 0.1

Mach3 does not have most of UCCNC's CV settings, so they don't import.

Try increasing the two error max settings from .03 to 0.1.

Ok. Tried to change the values but couldn't see any significant change. Any other suggestions on improved settings?
