Homing goes the oposite way

Postby delta21@gmail.com » Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:22 am

Hi, quick question.

When I start the machine I do the homing. Now to do the homeing, I have to go into the Axis config and change X and Y Axis Dir pin Active Low - if there is a hook I have to unhook, and if its unhooked I have to put the hook in.

If I do not do that, then when I load a program, the toolpath visualization will show the cutter going the opposite direction.

Ever had that?

Maybe I need explaining better:

If I set UCCNC Axis Y and X - and I move the cutter manually, the movement shown in UCCNC and the machine movement must be the same. Means if cutter goes to the right in UCCNC then the machine needs to move the table left so the cutter goes right.

However, when I do homing, I have to change the dir pin active low both at x and y axis or it would go where I do not have the limit switches.

Where can I change that?

Thanks.

This usually means your table is setup backwards in one or more axis.

Untick the dir positive box next to the home pin and port boxes in your axis setup
