Y homing actual speed (act. feed) differ from setting

Postby merrick » Sat Aug 26, 2017 3:56 pm

On 1.2042, I have the homing speed for long axis (Y) set at 120 (ipm) but I'm seing the feed rate DRO displaying 167. Is that normal?

There are 2 homing speeds per axis, one for the upwards movement to the home switch and one is the downwards movement.
Verify that you comparing to the proper value.

My Y axis has a slave (A). The homing forward speed set for both (Y and A) is 120. Upon executing the homing routine, the DRO indicate that the actual homing speed is 169.1. There was no F override at all.

I think it's a bug, and the DRO is displaying the blended speed, as if the X and Y were homing together.
At least the math for that adds up.
