I'm doing a retrofit on a Tree 325 Mill and have purchased both the ETH300 and the UCBB to make it easier to wire up with the screw terminals and make it look more professional. What I've come to discover after the purchase of the UCBB that it only works with 12 to 24Volts which means that the 5 volt proximity switches and the 5 volt line driver from the spindle resolver will have to wired separately to one of the other Ports. Or since the inputs to the UCBB are opto isolators I can indeed use the TTL output but with a reduced current limiting resister say 470 ohms instead.
Can someone confirm that this is correct as it really would save me a lot of rewiring?
