Hi
I have been using UCCNC for about 4-5 years now and until recently have had little problems other than my own doing. My normal routine is to use the M31 simple probe to find the top of the part. Recently in an effort to speed up my work flow I installed a second probe to consolidate all toolpaths to 1 file, which I would only do in the past with the same tool. So now I have been regularly running the M6 macro and just swapping tools as the program call for them. Wow, why have I not done this sooner. This is where I'm having the machine hang every 3 or 4 parts or more when it goes to the tool change position. Sometimes the spindle would stay running other times not. Sometimes the message box opens like it should other times not. In an effort to resolve this I placed a small dwell right before the M6 call thinking that maybe some condition was not yet met. I think it stopped the spindle from staying on, although not confirmed(not enough parts to say for sure). How can I tell what's going on here. There is no error in the log file. The machine status indicates IDLE, the timer is still counting like in cycle. Any help would be appreciated.
