AXBB-E no network connection

Postby kre8now » Thu May 06, 2021 10:22 pm

We are upgrading to a AXBB-E after our MASSO fried.

I have it connected to 24v and it shows a green 24v light.
I made a crossover cable and connected it to two different Win10 computers. On both computers the NIC shows as not cable connected.
I have a Cat5 tester and it shows it has a good crossover cable.
The IP/Subnet for the computers is set to 10.10.10.10/255.255.255.0 as stated in the documentation.

I tried running the UCxxx Utility but it does not see the controller.

Am I missing something in the documentation?

You also have to connect a 5V power supply which powers the whole digital part. The 24V is for the outputs.

And you probably don't even need a crossover cable.

Ok I connected the 5v and I now get a solid ready light, but no link light.

If I open the UCxxx utility and click the scan button the link light will blink once with each click of the button. This is with both a crossover and regular cable.

If the link blue LED blinks once on the Scan from the utility tool then the connection is physically OK, the blink means that the controller received a data packet via the ethernet port.
What version of the utility tool are you running?
You need version 1.8 or higher for the AXBB-E.
Older versions does not work with the AXBB-E, because those software versions are older than the AXBB-E.
The version number is printed in the top of the utility tool software window.

I've got an AXBB-E that has been working flawlessly over the past couple of years, without changing anything it all of sudden just wont connect! 24v and ready light are green, but blue light won't even blink from the scan utility, and I downloaded the latest version of everything this week just to make sure. I've tried another computer, other cables, with/without crossover, network reset button as well, with I think no error code after a successful reset. Any help would be much appreciated!

No resolution, just a fried controller basically. Couldn't get it to respond to anything, had to buy a new one.
