Probe plugin- Where is the "Ref probe as Workp" value stored

Postby iOne » Mon Apr 08, 2024 8:31 am

Hi All,

As per title, I am looking for where the value of the probe plugin "Reference Probe as Workpiece" is stored (looking for the numerical value of the Z distance between the probe and the workpiece) and subsequent tool offset numerical value when using the "Mobile Probe" & "Zero Probed Axes" to measure new tools lengths (numerical Z value of the difference between the current tool and new tool)

I am adjusting a M6 macro where I use the MobileToolOffset<tool>=X,Y,Z,A,B,C to measure a wide tool 3 times and store the 3 values (with "Zero Probe Axes" off) to ensure that at least it hits the insert one time, the macro then select out of the 3 the biggest value (longest part of the tool) turn on "Zero Probe Axes" and put it back into the 2711 field and validates it, but it is not doing what I thought it would do.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I found the numbers that I am looking for in the profile, now the question is, is there a way to retrieve them in the macro?
