Fusion 360 code is jerky..

Postby dimmaz88 » Mon Mar 13, 2023 6:37 pm

Hi all, as the title suggests really. I don't often use Fusion for CAM so I've not had to deal with this issue, but I have job coming up and it needs addressing.

I noticed the issue recently when cutting an adaptive pocket, it basically spirals out from the centre. The curves are a really jerky movement and I had to stop it.
I don't have the same issues when using Aspire.

Here's the processed code (deleted the majority in order to meet character limit)..

Code: Select all
(fusionAdaptive)
(T2  D=6. CR=0. - ZMIN=0.5 - flat end mill)
G90
G53 G0 Z0.

(Adaptive1)
T2 M6 (flat end mill D=6. End Mill 6mm Single Flute (Acrylic))
S16000 M3

G54
G43 H2

G2 X-129.397 Y-133.082 Z21.63 I-3.081 J-0.603 F333.3
X-129.975 Y-133.14 Z21.528 I-0.603 J3.081

G53 G0 Z0.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Gerry, is this done in UCCNC? I haven't ever changed it so what would be a good amount to change by?

Thanks
