wiring diagrams/input help

Postby Moe » Tue Feb 14, 2023 11:25 pm

hello all, my name is Moe first time controller builder here, so please forgive my lack of knowledge. im teaching myself.

i have the UCSB and the uc100.

im having a hard time when it comes to the inputs.

i cant seem to figure out the limit switches, e-stop, and prob

outputs i got. flood and mist all working.. but these darn inputs got me.

limit switches are NC and there are 3 of them x,y,z. the prob for now is just for tool height. so it just has 2 wires.

if i could see examples or diagrams. i feel i could figure it out.

thanks for any help giving. and sorry for what im sure has been asked a lot. but i could not find what i was looking for when i search this forum.

Trying to remember how I did mine, its like the diagram in the PDF. I believe all the (-) on the Pins used went to (-) on the PS and the (+) came from the PS and through the switches and back to the (+) of the Pins used input. Mine had all the Limits in Series to one Input except for A drive motor same for Home all except for A which makes the Y and A motors sync together. A stepper motor is Slave to Y axis motor.

I don't understand your showing connections to a ribbon or other type of connector, mine works as I have described.
