AXBB-E problems!!!

Postby camivic » Thu Dec 29, 2022 5:22 pm

Hi all, I recently bought an AXBB-E board.
Unfortunately I can't get it to work: when UCCNC finishes loading it closes with the error message you see attached.
I'm using a CROSS network cable, and the settings have been made as indicated in the manual (see attached photos).
Can anyone help me?
Thank you,
Vincenzo.

Hi Vincenzo,

There's no problem with your IP settings. Also, you may use normal cable, the network card made in the last min. 10 years will change to cross automatically. However, try to find the correct driver for the card. As I see you have a USB network card, so check the driver, check USB sleep options. I don't know what kind of PC you have, but if possible, use the USB ports on the back which are on the motherboard and not on the front panel. If you have a USB hub then use only powered hub. Also check the 5V supply for the AXBB, it must be 5V, if it goes too low then the network may become instable.

Thanks for your suggestions, as soon as possible I'll try with a normal LAN cable.
In the meantime I solved by mounting a small switch. I'll update you as soon as possible.

Ciao.

Now all is ok, just use a simple LAN cable and not a Cross!!!!
Thanks.
