contact CNC Drive. I believe that if you send them a picture of your damaged UC100, they'll replace license. They'll provide you with more details on what they want you to do.

I bought a replacement UC100 for a damaged one, I did it. When I got it I was told that my old license would not work. No mention of this when buying. Then was told after I got it I had to rebuy the license for an additional $60. No options for moving license jut pay up. This is a hardware device no more than a hardware dongle. I have dealt with many software issues where the dongle stops working. It was always a dongle replacement not rebuying an already paid for license. I was willing paid for the device although it no where costs what it does to manufacture so there already is some license cost built into it. All in the UC100 cost $190. So heads up if you have issues. Customer service was not a recommended experience.

I doubt that anyone from our company told you to pay up and you do not get a replacement license, because we always offering a free replacement license if an old device damages.
If you were told that then you probably delt with one of our reseller/OEM/Distributor. Unfortunately we have no control over how our distributor shops dealing with customers. They are separate companies usually in a different country.
This is the same as if you manufacturing a product and selling it to e.g. Walmart and walmart is distributing and selling your product and customers would complain on your website that your customer service is bad if they encountered bad experience with Walmart.

You should have contacted us about this matter before buying a new license key.
No that you already bought it from a reseller we cannot really do anything about it, you will have to deal with the distributor shop.
If you cannot deal with them what I can offer you is a free license key if you will buy a new motion controller in the future.

Just a friendly suggestion to the CNCdrive crew, you guys should sticky a post in at least two of the subs here explaining what to do if you lose your license to damaged hardware. At a minimum it should help prevent these types of disgruntled posts (no offense to OP as your situation stinks), at best it helps prevent people from buying unneeded licenses. A win-win really.
