Unable to spin motor

I purchased a uc300eth-5lpt with the ucbb breakout board and a licence code directly from cncdrive. I have it hooked up to dm542t driver and a nema 23. After wiring it all, I can not get the stepper motor to spin. I watched your video #129 regarding troubleshooting the uc300eth-5lpt and I am getting all four LED's lit. I also tested the driver and motor with a pulse generator and the motor spins, demonstrating that both the driver and stepper are functioning. However, when I wire the uc300 with the breakout board, driver and stepper, I can not spin the motor. I set the uccnc software axis setting to port 2 and I assign outputs 1 and 2 to dir and pulse but I can still not turn the motor through the computer. Is there anyway to check wether a signal is being generated.
