touch probe pins configuration

Postby sergey » Tue Jan 11, 2022 3:43 am

hello everybody!
I just getting closer to finishing my machine build and wonder how can I implement the touch probe?
I'm going to use the square piece of aluminum. In the settings it says I have to use port2 pin 15 and 16 which is active low.
which port should I connect to the ground (keeping in consideration that all machine is grounded) and which one to aluminum plate?
thanks in advice!

No, there is no port/pin constraint to which you have to connect the probe, you can connect it to any inputs, because all inputs are freely configurable in all of our motion controller.
How you have to physically connect it depends on the breakout board you using.

Thanks for your prompt replay. I have my UC300ETH sitting on C76 with C78. Which pins will you recommend in this configuration? Thanks
