NPN sensors

Postby Delco » Fri Jul 30, 2021 6:21 am

I have a UC300 with a UCBB , I have my homing switches on port 2 , pins 11,12,13,14 .
I have 24V and earth wired to the sensors lj12a3-4-z/cx , I have the signal from the sensors wired back to pin IN10- and 24V to Pin IN10+ , the same all the way up to IN14

Checking all the switches they activate their respective when triggered BUT if two switches are triggered at the same time then only one lights up on the screen. Been like this for a while but never noticed until I tried to get the Y axis and the B axis to home to square the gantry and it fails when both sensors are triggered.

Any ideas ?

I have no idea. Maybe you have a wiring problem or powersupply problem.
Are both 2 physical LEDs on the UCBB goes on and on the screen only one of the input pin virtual LEDs is active?

I will pull the box out and check the lights on the board , my other two machines are the same configuration and wired the same and are working fine , the only difference the other machines use lj12a3-4-z/bx now I have checked.
