Radius compensation error

Postby dbakers74 » Fri Apr 02, 2021 5:00 am

When I post code with "wear" or "in control" compensation from Fusion 360 I get this error and the file saves as "name.nc.failed":

###############################################################################
Error: Radius compensation is not supported for UCCNC. Please change the compensation type to 'in computer' for the toolpath.
Error at line: 1217
Error in operation: '2D Contour1'
Failed while processing onLinear() for record 79955.
###############################################################################

I used to use "wear" compensation all the time but I upgraded UCCNC to Software version 1.2113 and post processor 43194.

I searched everywhere and could not find a solution. Is UCCNC no longer supporting radius compensation?

This error message is in Fusion 360?
If so, the problem is with their post processor.

Afaik, UCCNC has never supported "wear" compensation, as it has no place to save the wear amount. Unless Fusion was doing the compensation.

It is a problem with the post processor in the Fusion360 and not with the UCCNC.
The post processor thinks that the UCCNC does not support G41/G42, but it does.
The wear compansation is really not supported though, only the tool radius compensation.

Thanks guys,

I will see if I can learn how to edit the post processor.
