Brutal movement after startup and start to jog

Hello guys,
Maybe you can help me.
I have a home built CNC router using an AXBB-E controller. The router has 3 axis and closed loop stepper drivers&motors (chinese no name).
I am using UCCNC software.
My problems is that from time to time, after startup and trying to JOG on some axis, the machine makes a very fast movement on that axis (in random direction) till the drivers raises an alarm.
This happens maybe 15-20% of the time, on either axis, only right after startup, energizing by pressing the "Reset" button in the UCNCN interface and trying to jog.
Could it be a problem with the AXBB-E or with the stepper motor drivers?
This problem is very annoying and I am always afraid I could damage the machine by hitting the end stop.

Sounds like an issue with the encoder, probably the cable?
