laser turns on with startup

I have uccnc and uc100 on a cnc4newbie machine. Jtech laser H2 + is from the motor supply power 36v H2 - is to uc100 terminal 5 which I understand to be pin 17. I do have the UCCNC laser plugin loaded that is just burning a blob so again likely some other setting. Here are the UCCNC settings. Why does the laser turn on when software is started that is likely due to some setting. Any insights of what I am missing. Do I need to give any more information? Thanks

You have both spindle PWM and laser output on the same pin: this is bad. Set spindle PWM to 0,0. If the laser still turns on then set active low at the laser output.

Thanks that fixed the laser starting at startup. Now when the I use the laser plugin the laser does not turn off. Trying to start simple just trying to engrave some simple text.

Did it engrave the test as expected, just does not turn off when finished?

using the plugin it starts at beginning as expected but is a continuous burn and does not turn off until end of run

Still is not working. Did some additional work on it. Since I cannot see code from the plugin I bought the vectric laser module so I could single step to monitor what was going on. The post processor uses M10 and M11. When ran the M3 turns on the laser I am assuming that this should not happen since it turns on the laser too early. Stepping through the program M11 is not turning off the laser so now am also assuming M10 is also not working. I cannot test this since when the M3 turns on the laser.
I did another set of screen shots since I have been messing with stuff and to verify that I did not inadvertently set something wrong.

It's a good information. If M3 turns on the laser then the laser is connected to pin 1. Zero out the M3 relay and set laser pin to pin 1 instead of 17. (M3 does not need a relay when used for the laser, it only enables the laser output. Sorry, I don't see/know your hardware.)
