PWM analog output problem

Postby tris » Thu Nov 19, 2020 10:51 am

Hi,
I'm using UCCNC 1.211 with a UC300ETH_5LPT and dont seem to be able get an analog PWM spindle output.
I am able to get analog Var# to work on both analog outputs. The values display on the UCNC diagnostic page and the voltage on the pins is good.
However no joy with the spindle PWM on either output.

Could it be the spindle settings?....
PWM spindle checked.
pins and ports set to zero (as we only want analog output)
PWM frequency 1000Hz (have tried lower without luck)
Min/max duty 0/100%
spindle velocity min/max 100/12000.

With an M3 F6000 command I was expecting to get 5V but get 0v, also no value given on the diagnostics page.
Are there any other settings that migh be blocking the PWM signal?

Where is the PWM signal generated? Software or hardware side?
I've swapped out my network cable and unplugged the UCBB to rule them out.
Are there any further tests that I can carry out?

Many thanks,
T

There's a checkbox for Spindle PWM >> Analog Channel # on the I/O Setup page with the analog settings.
