Spindle Pulleys

Once again looking for some help guys.

I recently converted my RF45 mill to a belt drive system. I made it min velocity 500, max velocity 5000 with a pulley ratio of 1 / 1.5 so now when I give UCCNC a command of 2000 rpm, the spindle is actually running at 3000rpm. I have had a look at the "spindle pulleys" settings, but when I enter the settings as a ratio of 1.5, it makes no difference.

Now, going back 3 years, Dan911 wrote me a specific plugin to control my mill, which at the time was running through a gearbox. I'm sure I gave Dan the Hz readings when the machine was running at a specific speed, and he done the rest. The machine ran flawlessly throughout that time until I converted to belt drive, which is why I am now trying to get speed control more accurate. I have tried to contact Dan via pm but am as yet awaiting a reply.

Do you guys think that this is a plugin problem, or is there a setting I am missing somewhere ? It's no huge problem that the machine is running faster than it's actually commanded but it would be nice to have it running true.

Thanks in advance for any help guys.

Hi needleworks,
It's not that could be of any help, but have you tried to contact the supplier directly? I am having similar issues and unfortunately the same response. I take it you are using UCCNC software and another's suppliers stepper drivers or are you using cncdrive as well?

Yes, I am using UCCNC and I am sure I am missing a setting somewhere, or there is every chance I am inputting the wrong setting. My stepper drivers are from somewhere else, but they do not play any part in this situation. It could also be the plugin I am using, as it was specifically written for my previous setup.
