2.116 - Probe doesnt stop immediately on touch

Tested in 2.116, using either my own probing macro or the built in probe screen, tool keeps moving for a fraction of a second after contact, makes my whole machine flex. Tested with both my Z, B and C axis, no debounce or anything like that. Reverting to 2.113 solved it, can run the probing macro at 300x feed without any issues. Pretty sure this is a bug, and not just something set wrong, but open to correction.

Yes, this is a bug (probe axis overruns sometimes and instant stops), was already reported a few weeks ago and we already debugged and fixed it, will be fine in 1.2117.

GREAT BUT WHEN ARE WE GOING TO SEE V2.117 WITH ALL THE BUG FIXES.

THE UPDATES HAVE SLOWED DOWN IN THE LAST FEW YEARS - FIX THE BUGS THEN MOVE ONTO NEXT VERSION PLEASE. VERY HARD TO RUN MACHINES WITH THE BUGS ESPECIALLY THE LATHE .

Even more annoying is the two versions of v2.115 floating around - why wasnt the updated version 2.116 ?

We final testing 1.2117 currently, all the reported bugs were fixed, so it should be out soon if we don't find any more problems in the final tests.

...and I apologise for confusing the naming convention by calling current built 2.116 when I should have said 1.2116, I see it is spreading! . Looking forward to the new build though, soon sounds good!
