I consider this a bug.
Install 1.2113 or 1.2115.
Start it, select DEMO_UC300ETH_5LPT
When the screen appear, click Reset.
Click Settings
Click Axes Setup
Click Z Axis, notice that Write offset on homing (Units) is set to 50, this should be set to 0 as all other Axis are 0 (X,Y,A,B,C)
This nearly caused a crash today when I installed Ger’s Screenset 2022 and tested the Calibrate Tool Setter.
Thanks to my E-stop switch I caught it in time before it slammed into my fixed plate.

This is not a bug in the software, just a default value. When you run machines you have to take care and check every settings, because most of them (in fact, all) has a default value that may not match your machine.

I know that, but why set 50 as a start value when all other axis are set to 0?
Make no sense at all.

Because usually the Z axis 0 coordinate is at the table and not at the top, so the home coordinate has to be a positive coordinate value.
Ofcourse value 50 is just an example, you can change it to whatever value suits you.

but the home switch is usually at the top of the z axis- not at the table height.
homing sets machine co ordinate zero, not work zero.
i always have to remember to set the z axis zero setting to zero at the switch.
