Camera Tool refresh delay

I am using UCCNC 1.2110 with my Stepcraft 600 because I love the screen set better than Stepcrafts. Stepcraft has a plugin with their installation called WebCam which I have used with a camera mounted on my spindle support. When moving, the camera display is essentially real time. When I switched to 1.2110, I noticed that there was a Camera Tool. In using the camera tool, the display seems to have a 2 second lag in refreshing the screen which, for me, makes it unusable for my purpose of trying to accurately locate my work origin and then apply offsets to the tool location. Is there something that can be done to get rid of the lag? The plugin seems to work fine so I would think the Camera Tool should work the same.

I've included both my profile (as requested) and the webcam dll file since I wasn't sure if it was Stepcrafts or yours.

I don't know what causes that much lag at you, it does not lag much on my computer.
What the plugin does is it simply reading the images from the camera via the Windows camera interface and drawing them on a picturebox.

Maybe try UCCNC version 1.2113, it has a camera view directly on the UCCNC screen, check if that lags at you or not.

cncdrive, I'm currently using 1.2112 and the large lag I see is in the built in view under the "Tools / Camera" tab. If I use the the Webcamera plug-in (1.0002) which comes up in a separate window, there is no delay. Also, not sure where to find v1.2113 you recommended.

Then probably your video card is too "weak" for the task. Can you try it with a different more powerful computer?
