Running the Modbus Master plugin on UCCNC V1.2111 a crash occurs when:

Running in Demo mode - not connected to my AXBB-E.
In Modbus Master; I create a new connection on Serial, it connects fine and loops are green.
When I create a new function, the crash error screen pops up per the image.

Hi,
Is that a generic problem with Modbus or only related to his installation and the fact that he is running AXBB-E, or the demo version of it?

Hi Josef,

There were some problems with the original Modbusmaster plugin that I tried to fix, but some new bugs born. In 1.2112 there is a newer version and that also has a bug which is fixed in the version I linked. So, the latest version is on the link and it will be released in the next release of UCCNC.

Answering your question: yes, that is a generic problem with the Modbusmaster plugin, but only in that plugin which is in UCCNC 2.2111.

Szia Csaba!

Thank you for the quick answer. I have just replaced my old PC which was running on 1.2049. Saw that the latest is 1.2111 so I installed that on the new PC a few days ago, but had no time to test it yet. Anyway, replaced modbusmaster.dll with your latest version. Thanks again.
