Comp acceleration description in manual

Could someone please add into the comp acceleration description that it is also used for the mpg?.
I found this out after many hours of head scratching.
I also noticed that when you set the max acceleration to a higher value than its present setting it auto sets the comp acceleration to 20% higher but when you set the max acceleration to a lower value than its present setting it does not auto set the comp acceleration.
