Installer modifies desktop shortcut

I have 3 UCCNC shortcuts on my desktop.
One is the default shortcut, and I have two others that use the /p switch to use custom profiles.
Every time I install a new version, one of these shortcuts gets the /p switch removed, and I have to add it back after installation.

Is there a way to check for this and not overwrite it?

When the UCCNC installs what shortcut files are overwritten on the desktop are the UCCNC.lnk and the UCCNCplasma.lnk.
If you rename the shortcuts to different names then they will be not overwritten by the installer.

I think we could probably easily check and not overwrite the files if they already exists, but my fear about this is that what if the user installs the UCCNC to a different folder and has shortcuts already on the desktop,
then the shortcuts will not be overwritten and will point to the wrong folder which will be a problem.

I currently don't know if we can check if the link points to the proper folder and overwrite only if not, I mean I currently don't know if that's possible and if yes then how, but will try to look after it as it could be a solution for your problem... however renaming the file should also resolve the issue.

OK, I'll just rename it then. Thanks.
