Plasma - forgot to wait for arc ok

Postby shad » Thu Oct 27, 2016 6:43 pm

Hello Balazs!
I am notice this issue.
I am open cutting program. Click on the START button - torch move to the first cutting path and wait for ArcOK signal. THC ON.
If I am click on the STOP button and then back to START button, SpindleCW command on M3 is not performed and torch not wait for ArcOK signal and move along the cutting path.
This issue only on the first cutting path of the program. On the remaining cuts all is OK.

Why M3 is not performed? Is it in the g-code? If it is not then ofcourse it will not be executed.
And if M3 is not active then the software will not wait for the ArcOK signal.

Of if the M3 is in the g-code but does not execute for some reason then please upload an example g-code file here which I can reproduce this issue please.

No sense what code. This issue on the any first cut path of the code.
I am also notice that after first click on the start button, M03 code executed and code set on the next line. I guess this is why on the stop/start event control is not wait for arc and Spindle output is off. But on the next M03 codes not problem. Code always stay on the M03.

Thanks for the video.
Why it stays on the M3 line I think is because the M3 is exceuted, but you have no ArcOK signal, so the controller is waiting for the ArcOK signal at that point.

The problem is that for the first M3 the g-code pointer moves one line after the M3?
Could you please confirm that this is the problem?

Also could you please keep this video on the dropbox link and post that code you running, so tomorrow I can show the video to my collegue to let him understand the issue and will debug with your g-code.

Hello Balazs!
Yes, the problem is that for the first M3 the g-code pointer moves one line after the M3.
This is the link to the program: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x69w0jnnqgd1l ... C.tap?dl=0
Thank you!
