M5 takes very long time to execute spindle off - 1.2116

M3 starts the spindle instantly, but M5 or the e-stop takes 10 seconds or more to initiate the stop signal through RS485, rolling back to 1.2115 solves issue.

I am using 1.2115 and I am controlling spindle VFD through RS485. Reaction of vfd to changing speed or fvd/rev/stop command is not fast as it must, it needs 1-3 seconds and has different duration. Is it bug?

I have the same issue with 1.2116.
The spindle takes 10 seconds to turn off.
I am controlling my VFD with RS485 using a USB adaptor.
Earlier versions of UCCNC work correctly but have probing issues and the UCR201 also has issues.

Go to the spindle setup page. The field that was the acceleration (units/s2) for the spindle is changed to the acceleration/deceleration time (s). If you have the old default 200 there then it will use it as seconds which is more than 3 minutes, so you have to change it to a much lower value.

My issue got resolved:
First I updated to 1.2.117 this made a little bit of improvement.
My computer is normaly totally offline so I loaded all the new windows updates and a BIOS update and upgraded to WIN11.
Now the spindle responds better than ever :D

So windows updates are occasionally god to install...
