The fix for the unhandled exception was released in 1.2114. (UCR201 plugin version 1.8)

and here we are some 2 years later and still no response and still an issue!

The answer is in the post just before yours: it was fixed in the plugin version 1.8 while you are running the 1.4 version. If you run UCCNC prior to 1.2114 then you can download the plugin from here.
