Motor run on power up

Hello,
I have a Stepcraft M1000 with ETH400 and AMB motor.
When I switch power on, the motor run for 2 seconds. It s quite dangerous. How to prevent it please ?

We don't know how to prevent it, because we don't know why it happens.
Which motor is that? axis stepper motor or spindle motor or ... ?
Asking Stepcraft would be the best source for support about this, because they know their motor controller electronics.
