X Axis Dir active low

Postby av8shunmeckaneck » Sun Jul 08, 2018 6:43 am

I'm just getting started with UCCNC and came from Mach 3. After finally getting the motors running I couldn't get the X axis to go the correct direction. No matter what I did with ports and pins it wouldn't change. My setup is a single stepper for each axis but I decided to try slaving A to X and also ported the same pins to them. It finally reversed the direction of X. I then disabled A as slave and now X acts normal. Not sure if this is a bug or not but I wasnt able to change the direction of X until I slaved it with A using the same ports and pins as X.

I don't think that there is a bug like that, but you can post your profile and then we can measure the dir signal out.

And one possible cause for the issue is if you did not press the Apply settings button after making the change in the settings.
