Gerry, there are many other users using the plugin without problems. This is why I'm idealess about why it is not working for him, if he did everything as I wrote then it should work.
And Artsoft has one of our UC100 and also a UC400ETH to test with.

I have licenses for both Mach4 Hobby and Industrial, and if I put the plugin in the plugins folder, it's available in Mach4, even without a controller connected. So it should be working, which is why he should contact Artsoft, as there seems to be something wrong with his Mach4 installation.

Hi Gerry, Yes, I agree with you. They could help hopefully, because they even have a UC100 with them, so they can even test it out.

HE has uninstalled Mach 4, deleted plugins , redownloaded and reinstalled two or 3 times , followed by re installing of the plugins using both manual and automatic installation. You have seen my plugin files so do not know what more I can do in that respect .

I have sent an enquiry to Artsoft so now await their response.

Mach support supplied a remote connection link and while I was having my dinner the problem was resolved in my absence . Came back after dinner and a notepad message told me UC100 was now connecting.
I will ask tomorrow if they can tell me what was wrong for the sake of others who may have similar probs .
I will now embark on the configuration process, but already I have the tool post whizzing about at silly speeds . Probably need a bit of motor tuning but that will be tomorrow.

Thanks to all that have tried to help . Will come back if I can get more info on what I might have done wrong
