Good Morning from Oz,
I recently purchased a UCCNC licence to couple with my AXBB-E controller and am having difficulty making the connection after following instructions. I have attached a schematic of my hardware.
My LAN connection from the switch has the IP set to auto. When I attempt to connect this IP manually to the 10.10.10.10 setting, the internet does not connect. Only connects in auto IP assignment.
I have used the utility software V1.8 and it does not register the controller. Appreciate any assistance
Cheers Muzz

Hi Muzz I think you need to set the Broadcom card IP address to 10.10.10.9 as the IP address of the AXBB-E is 10.10.10.10 so you can talk to it. The other network card will connect to your router using DHCP and receive a dynamic IP address.

Post a screenshot of your network adapter settings.

The IP address should be 10.10.10.10, as shown in the AXBB-E manual.

The IP address is the 2nd step. The first is to find the network problem: if the UCxxx_utility cannot find the device then it cannot set its IP address. Check the 5V supply of the AXBB, the network cable, the LEDs on the network connector, etc. If the AXBB and the network work then the utility will find it and you can continue to set it up.

Your network IP setting is wrong, you set the IP of the computer network card to 10.10.10.11 and the IP of the AXBB-E is also 10.10.10.11 (unless you changed it with the utility tool).
So, now there is an IP conflict, because the network card and the AXBB-E have the same IP addresses and so they can't talk to eachother.
Change the network card IP address to 10.10.10.10 as described in the AXBB-E users manual.

Thanks for the responses gents. Checked out all my connections as stated and all are good.
I changed over to the direct connection with my switch (see attached schematic) and low and behold the Utility identified the AXBB-E. When I hit 'test connection' I received an error message (in pic also).
After changing this over to the direct connection, should a new network adapter appeared in the Network Connections (windows) stating that I have connected to the AXBB-E as Nothing appears here at all.
I tend to agree with Dezoe, this appears to be a network problem initially that requires resolving first.

Has anyone got any kind assistance for my dilemna please? I can get the Utility software recognising the controller with a direct connection to the Switch only and not via the computer. With this direct connection however, and after pressing 'Test Connection' an error message appears as per previous picture submitted.
Thanks in advance

Could you try to disable Interface 1? I guess that is the WiFi. And then test again.
