I am unable to get my UCCNC software out of demo mode.

I have pasted the licence key file into the UCCNC folder as a text file as sent to me but it will not activate the software.

It was working fine 3 months ago. Where do I look/check? I am a new user so treat with kidd gloves!!

Thanks for your help

I have tried uninstalling the software and then reinstalling it from the UCCNC website. It appears to load ok and I have paster in the key when requested but I am still in demo mode. The numbers match between the board and the code.

Where else should I look. I can't believe there is noone on this forum who can solve this for me.

Thanks in advance

Hugh

If you have UC100 then check these instructions or if you have an Ethernet motion controller then you have to configure its network. If you don't write any information then noone can help.

Do you have the network adapter configured correctly?

I guess it was as the machine used to run. I did not set it up originally. But it stopped working so I reinstalled the software. Do I need to update the network driver. If so how do I do that?

Thanks

follow the uccnc manual for your uc300
how to set up the network.

go to network & internet settings.
ethernet
change adapter options.
you need to change the properties of your ipv4 in the drop down list

set to
10.10.10.175
subnet 255.255.255.0
gateway. leave blank.

validate on exit checked.
close.
