Hey I have always used softlimits. Now iI want to instal NPN sensors. Who can help me with the configuration. I also bouth a toollength sensors and can't get it working.

But the are already installed on my machine and connect to the controler. When i approche metal they lit up, but for example the x axis kept going further. Do i need to change somthing in the configuration. The enable softlimit is chequet on . Must it be disabled.

You need to set the right ports and pins for homing that its connected to for each axis , then you need to home the machine , then set your soft limits values - they dont work as hard limit switches unless you configure the ports/pins for limits which you dont need to do if soft limits set properly.
