Velocity Settings - Homing or "Shift" function

All,
I have converted a manual mill to CNC with UCCNC. I am wanting to slow down the Homing Velocity and the "Shift" Axis movement velocity. I was able to reduce the Homing Velocity for the respective Axis, however when I Hold the "shift" Key and select a movement it is still moving extremely fast.... too fast.
Is there a default setting or an override that I can input to reduce the "Shift" Velocity?

All the best,
Jay B. Knudsen

this is the maximum speed you have set motors in axis settings- turn that speed down.

Thanks Batwell,
I was able to get the setting configured correctly. I shut down and relaunched the software each time. As odd as it seems. When I closed it down for the day, the next day the settings took effect. I am not sure why, but everything seems to be working fine today.....

All the best,
-Jay

if you used apply settings- its just for that run of uccnc.
if you use save settings -it applies and saves so will be the same on next start up of the software.
