What is the recommended method for upgrading UCCNC?

Just install over the top? Uninstall before a new install?

I will be setting up new profile from scratch so saving old profile is not an issue for me this time.

You can install it on the top. The installer will take care to overwrite all files which has to be overwritten.
One thing though is to set the overwrite default profile option in the installer if you upgrading an earlier major version (1.0xxx or 1.1xxx to 1.2xxx).
Because we do not recommend to use older major version profiles with newer major version of the software, it would probably still work, but safer to create a new blank default profile with ticking in that option in the installer.
