Kernel Frequency

New UCCNC user here, love the software and hardware so far. I do have a question that I am hoping all the smart people here can advise me on----

I have a 3 axis gantry style home built CNC router, very robust 32inch x48inch machine, aluminum extrusions, linear rails and ball screws.
I am using UCCNC software and a UCCNC 400eth motion controller with Gecko G540 drivers. Stepper motors are Nema 23 420oz, 3.0MH 4.2 amp purchased from Avid CNC. --https://www.avidcnc.com/420-oz-in-30-mh-nema-23-stepper-motor-38-shaft-p-188.html

What kernel frequency should I set UCCNC at with this setup?
I have tried 400, the machine is not accurate and does strange random things at 400, it runs good at 100(no issues when running the same gcode at 400)
Should I bump it up to 200 or is 100 the correct setting with my specs?

Thanks, Brian

In the G540 manual there is 200 kHz as maximum input frequency. If you don't need higher then use 100 kHz. (You need higher if you cannot set an axis velocity high enough.)

Thank you.
I missed that in the G540 manual, I have it running now at 200. runs great.
