Homing problem

Hi. I try to install the homing function. But it only goes to the first switch and change direction. And there it stops. Should it not record the position and continue to the other side. And thereafter go to next axis?

What have I missed.

No. The homing measures only in one direction. (You have only one home input per axis.)

OK. I thought it was a safety feature in both ends of the axis.

But when I run the homing sequence and thereafter want to do tool measuring with the probe will the machine give me the text that the machine is not homed. Why is that?

If you run the stock M31 macro ("Probe" button) then it checks for X, Y and Z to be homed. If you use the probe screen ("Start probing" button) then it checks for the enabled axes. (Also, the plugin behind the probe screen had a bug with slaved axes that was fixed in 1.2114. You didn't mention which UCCNC version do you use.)

Thank you for your advise. The homing sequence works now. But the next problem came up.

Can't get the tool length probe function to work. Everything looks good until the z-axis shall move downward there is no movement. Also tried cncnutz M31 with the same result.
I have the latest release of uccnc
Any idea?

Maybe some settings are missing. Please, upload your profile (.pro in the Profiles folder) to check. Also, what is the latest version? Is it that we released today morning? Or the latest stable? Please, always write exact version number. (Only UCCNC version which can be found the the Help/About screen.)
