Hi Everybody,

I'm new to UCCNC(got it in the beginning of September with the machine) and also kind of a newbie on CNC software.
I am using a Stepcraft D420 for drilling + milling PCB's for hobby use.

I am looking for a comfortable way(preferably wireless but not a must, and with physical buttons) for getting X 0 and Y 0 positions correct when calibrating the machine with the PCB before start.
I've looked at:

1. https://www.you-buy.ca/en/product/1NHUI ... -laptop-pc
2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/352903746736
3. https://shop.stepcraft-systems.com/UCR2 ... -for-UCCNC
4. https://www.cnc-step.com/usb-wireless-k ... emote-ip65

1+2 are the cheapest way of getting there, but option 4 looks most comfortable because it has individual buttons for X Y and Z.

Does anyone know if https://www.cnc-step.com/usb-wireless-k ... emote-ip65 is compatible with UCCNC?

Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there anything commercial ready-to-use on the market that is almost similar to CNC-STEP CNC Wireless Keypad regarding buttons and size but works as a USB HID device or is verified compatible with UCCNC?

The alternative seems to be swapping UCCNC with WinPC-NC.

If you're after cheap pendant, consider a knockoff xbox360 controller, in either wireless or wired. Use is configurable w/ plugin (either the one that comes from CNCDrive w/ UCCNC, or my plugin)

Numeric keypad is the best option for me , just custom printed stickers and then assigned the keys to the operations I wanted in uccnc,

I also have a wireless whb04-b4 and prefer the numeric keypad :)

Thanks for the suggestions!

I've started looking in a different direction.

1. https://www.sparkfun.com/products/retired/11926 Right size, but discontinued due to missing FCC label on the outside.
2. https://www.sparkfun.com/products/17266 Would probably even be able to control the Z axis.
3. https://ww1.prweb.com/prfiles/2013/09/0 ... I-1000.jpg Looks like option 1, but discontinued.
4. https://store.airturn.com/collections/h ... igit-iii-1
5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/384409503678?var=652548079671 Right size but not much info.

Options 1, 3 and 4 have clearly stated in the manuals that they support different(preassigned) button assignments.
Option 2 does not mention anything in the manual nor FAQ what buttons it emulates. Plus they only write Windows 10 as the only supported Windows OS but I run Windows 7 on the computer.
Option 5 would be OK to buy even if it is a miss because of the low price.

Option 4 looks like the option that I might go with because of Mode 2(presenter 1) https://www.airturn.com/assets/apps/Dig ... nglish.pdf
