activate / deactivate LED?

Hi all,

is it possible to configure a LED so that it only lights up for its intended application? I am thinking of the "Probe" LED (No. 37), which lights up or flickers while a milling program is running when the cutter makes contact with the workpiece. The display of the LED is actually only necessary during a Probe operation.

Best Regards
Peter

No, internal function LEDs are always working. Also, it's not a good solution to have the probe input fixed on the workpiece. (Safe probe mode would stop any code execution.) Maybe you could set an output trigger from the sycle start LED (54) to disconnect the probe input with a relay.

Ok, I like the idea with the cycle start LED and the relay. I will implement it that way. Thanks for the tip, Dezsoe.

The probe input is not fixed on the workpiece, but on the machine table. If I have a metal workpiece, I can probe it anywhere on the table. For non-conductive materials, I use a 3D probe.

Thanks a lot.
