Configuration UCBB1

Postby julien02420 » Thu Jul 29, 2021 11:46 am

Hello,
We have new user for Uc300eth with UCBB1
Installation of Uc300eth is ok.
We have connect port 2 in CN1 and port 1 in CN2.
We use Hybrid servo drive HBS86H with motor closed loop 86HB250-118 2000microstep.

When calibrate motor, the motor tranbles and a few seconds later it gets servo drive into error.
Connection driver ucbb uc300eth is good ?
What parameter preconize you ?

I don't think it is anything to do with the UCCNC or UCBB.
It is probably a bad encoder cable of your motor.

It is also possible that you trying to run the motor too fast, the velocity parameter is too high, but you did not describe it detailed enough how the issue exactly happens, so this is just a guess.

We have check electric cord.
Problème is motor.
In motor have à label indicat color of thread but label is wrong.
We have inverse A+ and A and now is very good.
Very thank for your help.

Good to hear that you got it resolved.
And this means that the problem was with the encoder counting direction, I mean if you exchanging 2 encoder channels or 2 motor coils both reverse the direction of the encoder counting to motor rotation direction. If the encoder is counting in the wrong direction that is ofcourse a problem. :)

Hello,
I haven't finished plugging in the UCBB1 but but what I have already done, it is very easy to configure with.

If I plug in or unplug the encoder, the motor runs the same way.
Is there a procedure to see if the encoder is doing its job well in case of step loss?

do you have an electronic card to control the spindle speed via UCBB. to transform pwm to analogic and potentiometre to adujust speed during program execution.

best regard

The UC300ETH has an analog port with 2 analog inputs and 2 analog 0-10V outputs.
You could use those outputs for spindle speed control with the VFD.
And you could use the analog inputs for spindle speed override and for feedrate override.

There are 6 auxiliary encoder inputs which can act as an encoder counter.
But it is possible to compare the encoder position and position DRO position only when the motion is stopped for some time, because Windows is not realtime and so the motion is buffered, so it is not possible to compare the position when the controller is doing motion, because then the position DRO is always lagging to the encoder position.
