24v input into HDBB2?

Postby Parkgrr » Wed Mar 24, 2021 9:48 pm

Hey folks, I'm rounding the last leg of getting an multicam MG series router fitted with UCCNC. The machine is i/o intensive weighing in at 20 outs and ~20 ins. I opted for the UCBB for the heavy i/o lifting plus the HDBB2 for its charge pump function and MOSFETs for external relays. I was hoping to get away with not having to use any inputs on the HDBB2, however I've found myself a couple of inputs short on my UCBB. There are a couple of ins that may be unnecessary on my new build (like the 2D scanner), so I'm not 100% sure I've exhausted all the I/O of the UCBB, however in the case that I'm unable to pare down inputs to the UCBB and need a few more ins and outs using the HDBB2 I am wondering if there is any way to get that BOB to talk to my 24v sensors? I'm assuming this is not possible, but am I truly limited to only 12v logic with this board? Being that they are opto isolated I figured I'd ask if there's some way to do this.

Thanks for helping out a rookie!
