Duplicate X signal on one output

Hi all,

First of all, thanks for reading my post.
Second, I am not an expert and much more close to a junior/rookie in CNC domain so, sorry in advance if my question sounds obvious for some of you.
Third, I am converting a SIEG SX3 to CNC and I am setting-up an UC300ETH + UB1 boards and I am using UCCNC software.

I would like to have an external 24V/20mA lamp/LED lighting each time an axis moves.
To to so, my idea is to do 'something' to link the, for instance, XS+ port to and output port like Y301.
I don't know if that's doable in terms of wiring but, if so, I anticipate that I will have to do a macro or UCCNC config to connect the dots and make sure that each time an axis moves, according output port will send a 24V signal.

Is that realistic ?
What should be the plan B to reach my goal ?

Thanks in advance

Philippe

Hi,

There is the "current hi/low", it outputs a signal if the axis moves, it outputs the signal a few tens of milliseconds before the axis starts to move and it is removed a few tens of milliseconds after the axis stopped moving, it can be used as a current reduction signal for some stepper drivers.
I think this is exactly what you looking for. :)
