Probe Question

Postby naijin » Fri Jan 01, 2021 11:28 pm

Happy New Year to all at the Forum !!
On the run screen, the probe button I understand executes M31 code when pressed, I would like to assign a hot key to that button, but I don't know what number it is listed under in the hot key selection window, are there more selection choices elsewhere? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

an easy way to find the hotkey number is to use "edit screen" on the settings >> general config page.

use shift + left mouse click to flip between tabs. (don't press save screenset! .... unless you have changed something and want to plus you are on the tab / screenset view you want uccnc to start on)

click on the probe button and check out the button number..... and use this with your hotkey.

alternatively..... use the ButtonNumbers HTML (can't remember exact file name) file in the documentation folder and do a word search (CTRL + f)....

or download a copy of my manual listed in my signature and do a word search for probe (CTRL+ f)
