I utilizing a UC300_M44 and need to change/edit my PWM setting but it does not let me.
After opening UCCNC I head to CONFIGURATION then SPINDLE.
I need to change the setting for MAX VELOCITY & MIN VELOCITY as well as the PWM
but it just defaults back to the original settings no matter what I try.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for the help in advance!

Are you hitting the ENTER key after entering your values?

Yes, It just goes back to original value.
Also tried SAVE SETTINGS & APPLY SETTINGS on the bottom of the page.
Tried in live mode (with CNC machine on) & in demo mode
Thanks for the fast reply!

Write some details:
- which UCCNC version?
- UC300_M44 or UC300ETH_M44?
- if version is 1.2112 or later then which screenset do you use?

Hi Dezsoe
Here's what the ABOUT page says:
Software version: 1.2111
Firmware version: 3.0200
Hardware version: 1.0000
API version: 2.1790
Serial number: ________
Device type: UC300_M44
I'm a little out of my depth here so bare w/me. All I could find about screensets was a file labeled Defaultscreenset.ssf The help page brought me to this usermanual (linked below) and is identical to what my screens look like - I can't figure out how to paste screenshots on this forum
https://www.cncdrive.com/UCCNC/UCCNC_usersmanual.pdfThank you for taking an interest!

Hi Jesse,
Yes, in 1.2111 there is no more screenset but the default (and the plasma). I tested and there's no problem, so I think that, as Gerry wrote, you do not press enter when you type in a new value. To be clear: you click into a field, type a value and have to press the enter key. If you click away or click any button (like apply or save) then you cancel the input. Also, you can turn this option off on the Appearance settings page. ("Validate textfields with Enter key only" option.)

Oh man, that was very simple but not obvious. It worked!
I turned of the Validation and was able to edit and save.
The best part is my Sset command is not off as far as it was before to Sact.
A long journey to get to this point! I had to change parameters at the VFR to take commands from the terminal - as before it was set to monitor and defaulted to max speed of 24063 rpm.
Then the PMW was set to 1000 when it was recommended to set to 500hz ............... so commanding 18000 would actually be 20380
now if I command 18000 the actual is 18440. Is that within reason in your opinion?
As long as I'm not damaging anything I can live with that. I cut Plywoods, MDF, Hardwood & plastics
THANK YOU BOTH for your help. I have a fully functional CNC monster back in operation!
