Interface/g-code generator?

I am just wondering if it would be possible somehow to customize a screenset or a plugin to be able to pick shapes and define size/quantity etc. on a plasma running uccnc. I'm thinking along the lines of Esab Crossbow and countless other commercials cnc plasma.
This is far outside my knowledge-base and might be close to impossible.

Best regards Nils Erik

Yes, it's possible with macros and also with plugins.

Thanks for the speedy response.
Glad to hear it's possible.
I'm posting an image of what would be ideal.
Does anybody know where one could find something like this?
Unfortunately this is not my strong suit, I'm more a mechanical guy.

What you are asking for would take a LOT of time and many thousands of lines of code to be written.

Just a thought, (;-) TP

I was afraid that would be the case.
The plasma I was thinking about building have to be really easy for the operators to handle, commercial it is :D
Just bought a uc100 for a router-build at home so I will probably be back here on a later date.

Thanks alot for all the help.

Best regards Nils

You could hire a programmer to code this for you. If it is a machine built for commercial purposes then it should be no problem. :)
It is not hard to code it, but time consuming...

there is a shape generator in sheetcam that has had some recient development work.

You can install the software and it will show you the shape generator but without a licence the number of gcode lines is limited.

latest development release of sheetcam here:
https://www.sheetcam.com/Downloads/akp3 ... 6.1.74.exe

Go to "Mode" on the top line and down to "shape" and it will popup on the RHS.

Its a start and it can be developed within sheetcam to add other shapes
