Spindle PID Tuning

Is there a recommended approach to this? Or just random numbers until it works? I'm having a a hard time getting it smoothed out

I did some more research and got it good enough. Couldn't see benefit of any derivative control so just PI control.
As a suggestion, it might be a nice feature to export the graph data for people who want to import it into software for tuning. I haven't used Simulink since college so it won't be me, but maybe someone else would
