How to add buttons in Jog screen?

Hello,
I tried to extend the jog screen, which worked really great.
Now I would like to add some custom buttons to it.
After I pressed the button "save screenset" and left the software, the created button was gone.
How can I save a custom button in the jog screen?
Kind regards Alex

Make sure it's on layer #1.

Thank you! Now it works.
Is there a rule which button has to be on a specific layer?

There is no rule, but if you placing the button on a layer which does not exist then you will not see it when the screen loads, because that layer as it does not exists is not visible and so the buttons and other items on it are also not visible.

The jog screen is layer #1, but when you try to place a button on it, it goes on the wrong layer.
Anything you add to the screen, needs to go on the correct layer, as the layers are the pages.

I was trying to add a button to the jog screen earlier and despite being on layer 1 they never appeared on the jog screen, instead it's visible over layer 7. Any ideas?

It's odd because the software crashed twice after applying the changes and closing the screen editor. It might be work station related. I don't run UCCNC on this specific work station, I just use it for playing with UCCNC for testing purposes, I'll try my motion controller setup and see what happens this evening.
