Mini PC

Hi there, just wondering if there is anyone out there using one of the mini-pc's like the AP35 mini pc, or something similar to run the uccnc software on a cnc router, I am due for a computer up date and found these on e-buy for about $200.00 ,do they work o.k.? or not worth the effort?
